The richly embroidered, all-over design is remeniscent of the secret symbol used by early Christians during times of persecution. The Greek letters "IXTHUS" are an acrostic for "Jesus Christ, Son of God and Savior."
The one complaint we have received about our Manuals is that they wear out! We realize that this cover costs more than a Manual does -- but look upon it as insurance, as well as a way to attractively protect your prayer book. When you look at this cover, you won't be tempted to skip your prayers!
