Come, Follow Me: Orthodox Monasticism in Moldavia

During the Cold War, an American nun moved to the Moldavia region of Romania to live at Varatec Monastery. Her memoir, Come, Follow Me, is a fascinating inside account of her year in a community of 350 nuns in an ancient Orthodox country.  Author Mother Cassiana is currently the acting superior of Protection of the Holy Virgin Monastery in Lake George, Colorado.
