F102 -Our Own Natural Yarn: Brown Light Worsted Weight

Like our white yarn (Catalog number F101) this fine wool is spun exclusively from our own sheep. For this natural brown color, we have blended the dark fleeces. The result is a rich and pleasing dark brown color. Green Mountain Spinnery in Putney, Vermont processes our wool with only vegetable-based oils and soaps, rather than petroleum-based products. No chemicals or dyes are used to treat the wool so that the best qualities of the fiber are maintained.
