DESCRIPTION
The design and calligraphy for this card were done by one of the sisters to illustrate a verse from the Orthodox Christmas services. This beautiful and ancient verse, explaining so clearly the role of the Mother of God, is sung at vespers during the vigil of Christmas Day. "Stikhera" means "verse" in Greek and Russian; Anatolia is an old name for the modern region of Turkey which once was a major Christian country. Many verses sung to this day in the Church come from "Anatolia."
One of a set of four, this card is printed in red and black ink on heavy, textured white stock with matching envelopes. Blank inside.
Available in dozens and half dozens.
