This wonderful saint whose name means "Peace" in Greek is surely one whose intercession we need in our times.

The saying on the reverse reads: "Clothed in splendor with a robe purple from your own blood and wearing a crown of victory, St. Irene, you hastened to the King and Lord of all Whom you desired! Now you reign with Him as a virgin and martyr, ever interceding for our souls."
